CLASSES, SEMINARS, AND INTERNSHIPS

Interested in learning more about the Bible and thinking about how the gospel intersects with life? Interested in being equipped to better serve as a lay leader, pastor, or church planter? Consider taking one or more of our core classes (see below) or talking more about what an internship might look like for you at Hiawatha Church.

FOR MORE INFORMATION contact Pastor Spencer Peterson (spencer@hiawathachurch.com).

Class and seminar offerings

Though our exact class and seminar offerings are always rotating, they revolve around 4 key areas: 1) How to read the Bible, 2) The main doctrines of Christianity, 3) Day-to-day Christian living, and 4) The intersection between faith and culture.

So, whether we’re offering a class on how to read the Old Testament like the apostles did, or how the early Church dealt with persecution, or how Christians think about gender and sexuality, the goal is to help our church to think biblically, practically, winsomely, and relevantly about the stuff of theology and the stuff of everyday life.

INTERNSHIPS & CHURCH PLANTING RESIDENCIES

For those interested in a more robust leadership development experience (anywhere from 10-40 hrs/wk), we offer internships or church planting residencies that are tailored to help you reach your ministry goals. Internships focus on developing people who think biblically and who lead God's people with zeal, humility, and grace-shaped hearts. They consist of ministry experience, mentorship by other church leaders, and taking the appropriate core classes we offer at Hiawatha.
